Magazine Reflection

For my Magazine, I wanted to do a topic related to the field of business, which I'm not certain I potrayed so well with the conventions of the cover. While the articles were related to Business, sure, and the logo was simplistic and sleek, with good, contrasting and bright colours to catch the eye, Not a lot of about the colours I chose, nor the fonts, particularly got across that feeling of it being a financial magazine, which I do think I should've reworked. Other than that, however, I think I did do the conventions of a Magazine fairly well, at least in a general sense. Everything was well-organized, I felt - the main article had different colours to make it pop, while the others still had stylized blurbs, so the reader's visual journey should usually start with the main article and the picture, and then the blurbs on the side, which was the goal, anyways. Because of a little glitch with InDesign, I did have to do it on Adobe Express, but I still managed to make it well enough, anyways, and with all the limitations considered, what with the lack of self-taken pictures and such, I think I did pretty well for myself. Next time, though, I'll have to take my own pictures when I get the chance, instead of relying on my cameraroll.
